Ardour

Ardour is an Open Source DAW, or Digital Audio Workstation, with a feature set that rivals that of commercially available software. The project was started by Paul Davis, an early employee of Amazon, and is the most full featured of the Open Source audio programs available. It runs in OSX, Linux and Free BSD.
