Infosnacking

Infosnacking is the process of consuming information (typically on the internet) that is almost always not work related. According to NPR (National Public Radio), "Infosnacking" was awarded word of the year by Webster dictionary in 2005. They describe it as the workplace activity of "stolen moments" where the snacker sneaks a peek at their email, catches up on the news, or contacts their friends via social media.
