Noyo Watershed Alliance

The Noyo Watershed Alliance (NWA) was formed in 2001. The alliance has community and landowner support. Its goal is to accomplish high-priority environmental recovery tasks that may cross ownership boundaries.

The watershed group is comprised of the City of Fort Bragg, the Salmon Restoration Association, and the three largest landowners in the Noyo River Hydrologic Sub-Area. These landowners consist of Jackson Demonstration State Forest, Campbell Timberland Management, and the Mendocino Redwood Company. Furthermore, the Alliance has regular community support and members participate in meetings and activities.

The California Department of Fish and Game provides technical advice to the Noyo Watershed Alliance and the Noyo Watershed Alliance is partnered with Trout Unlimited.
