Xanth

Xanth is a magical fantasy land created in novels by author Piers Anthony. Many things in Xanth don't translate into real life (what Xanthians dub "Mundania"), such as tangle trees, dragons, flying centaurs, demons, and a whole slew of other fantastical creatures. Similarly, the other way around doesn't compute; Xanth is completely devoid of cars, money, paved roads, and computers (save one that's an evil genius). Xanth novels are extremely fun adventures, and Piers Anthony's world is always a pleasure to escape to.
