Buddha Board For Painting

The Buddha Board is a meditative painting slate. A reservoir of water at the bottom is used in place of an inkwell and a simple bamboo painting brush is the instrument for painting. Water that is painted onto the stone board turns the stone a dark black color. As the water evaporates you can watch your painting fade away. I try to do this great artistic meditation practice daily because it inspires creativity and there is no pressure to create a masterpiece because the painting is gone in minutes.
