Calla Lily

The Calla lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica) is a white flower also known as the Easter lily or Lily of the Nile. This flower likes to grow by streams and ponds, or wherever water is abundant. Some cultures believe the Calla lily is a funeral flower; others prefer using them for festive occasions such as weddings. The lily was the symbol for Irish Republicanism since the Easter uprising in 1916. Do not eat this lily. You'll feel a burning sensation, your lips and throat will swell, and your stomach will not thank you.
