Crustose Coralline Algae
Coralline Algae is a type of algae that covers rock surfaces below ocean water. Its unique feature is its pink "bubble gum" color. It grows in flat sheets with small raised bubbles on the top. This algae’s division is Rhodophyta. It is only found in salt water and forms a basis for nutrient support for a variety of other plant and animals in marine environments.
