D.A. (Duck's Ass)

The D.A. (or duck's ass) was a hairstyle popular of the greaser look in 1950's America. This hairdo contributed to the term "greaser," as the style required a substantial amount of gel or pomade. The hair was then combed back on the top and both sides, resulting in a 'V' shape at the back of the head. The 'V' shape resembles a duck's tail feathers.
