Dreadnought Guitars

Dreadnought is an acoustic guitar body type typically found on steel string guitars. The design was originally created by Martin Guitars in the 1900s and is now one of the most commonly found body types manufactured. Because it is one of the largest body types it is noted for its loudness and boomy low end sound. Typically constructed with solid Rosewood, Koa, Mahogany, and/or Spruce. Used across many genres of music a well made dreadnought is an excellent instrument.
