Gecko
A gecko is a lizard. It makes a funny chirping sound when it vocalizes. Geckos have specialized pads on their feet that acts like adhesive to allow them to climb vertical surfaces and traverse ceilings. Geckos live in tropical and temperate climates. They range in size from a few centimeters to about 50 cm. Geckos primarily eat insects and worms, but they have also been known to hunt small birds, mice, and reptiles. There are over 2000 species of gecko in the world. Some species are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss and pollution. Contrary to popular belief, there is no objective evidence to support the fact that geckos sell insurance.
