German Shepherd

The German Shepherd is a large-sized breed of domestic dog originating in Germany in the late 1800's. Their coloration is mostly blacks, browns, and some whites. They are one of the most popular breeds, and their intelligence and strength makes them ideal for military and police work. They are actually ranked the third most intelligent breed of dog, and make very active and loyal pets.
