This sweet shred machine is good for more than just metal. The Ibanez S470DXQM can be used in a wide variety of musical styles from rock to jazz. It has three pickups, two double-coil humbuckers and a single-coil. The five position pickup switch allows the player to select a variety of pickup combinations and tones. It's equip with Ibanez's signature Floyd Rose floating tremolo system. But this Floyd Rose is the ZR (Zero Resistance) tremolo and offers several improvements over the original Floyd Rose design including a smooth ball-bearing pivot system instead of the original knife-edge pivot system, and better tuning stability. The S470 features a double locking setup where the strings are locked in place at the bridge and the nut. This keeps the guitar in tune with amazing accuracy and can be adjusted with five "fine-tuning" knobs at the bridge. The guitar features a quilted maple top, abalone inlay, a maple "Wizard II" neck, mahogany body, jumbo frets, and a rosewood fretboard.
