J. Krishnamurti
Born in 1895 in small village in India, J. Krishnamurti was heralded as the long prophesied spiritual leader. Instead, in 1929 he denounced this role and returned all the money and property that had been donated to this work. Krishnamurti traveled the world for the next 60 years talking about the need for radical change. His message transcended any affiliation with sect, religion or nation. His message was we are all human beings first and not Hindus, Muslims or Christians, that we are like the rest of humanity and are not different from one another.
