Lemon Butter Crust Buns

These pull-apart buns are made with flour, yeast, milk, eggs, butter, salt, and grated lemon rind. After the first rise, the dough is cut into twenty pieces, formed into round balls, and placed in a springform pan to rise again. The raised dough is brushed with melted butter and lemon rind, then baked at 350 degrees for thirty minutes. The resulting buns make a delicious addition to any dinner but are especially satisfying when dipped in soup.
