Mad Professor

The Mad Professor syndrome is exemplified by a scientist who experiments in his laboratory and is often featured in sci-fi movies where the world's future is at stake from some sort of terror, monster, or threat to humankind. Many mad professors are victims of a related syndrome, "Bad Hair Day."
