Masks

A mask is worn on the face for many different reasons. As most bank robbers know, a mask can hide your identity. A surgical mask can protect one from germs. Masks can be highly decorative when worn for ceremonial purposes, such as shamanic healing rituals. Members of the Greek chorus wore masks during ancient theatricals. An ornate and intricate mask is crucial to a person's wardrobe should you be invited to attend a costume ball, masquerade, Carnival or Mardi Gras.
