Mendocino

Mendocino is a small town nestled along Northern California's Pacific Coast. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and redwood forests. Most of the redwoods are second growth but a few giant old growth redwood trees can still be found if you know where to hike. Mendocino sports good hiking, mountain biking, and ocean kayaking. The town itself has been preserved as a historical landmark featuring Victorian era buildings. Many go to Mendocino to vacation every year but a few of us are lucky enough to grow up or live there.
