Pinacocyte

Pinacocytes are the flattened contractile cells in which the outer layer of most sponges (Poriferans) are composed. These cells form the pinacoderm.

Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve

The Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve originates in the head, passes down into the chest and loops around the aorta before returning to the upper neck to the larynx.
