Tabby Cat
A Tabby cat is characterized by its fur coat which is striped or spotted in light and dark markings. Their fur ranges in many colors of white, gray, black, brown, and orange patterns which makes for great natural camouflage. A true Tabby has a natural dark "M" marking on their forehead and dark lines coming off their eyes. The folklore behind the "M" marking is that it stands for the "M" in Mau, which is the ancient Egyptian word for cat. Tabbies are often highly intelligent and exhibit a playful and exploratory behavior as well as a soft affectionate side.
