Teasel

Teasel plants are of the genus Dipsacus, and are a perennial flower easily identified by their spherical and prickly heads. The plants grow from 3 to 8 feet in height, and are native to Asia, Northern Africa, and Europe. Teasels are invasive, often pushing out native plant species. For this reason, they are discouraged and sometimes destroyed in conservation areas of America.
