The Base 10 System

The Base 10 system, also known as the decimal system, is the most widely used numeration system in the world. It uses ten digits (0-9) to represent numbers, and each digit's value depends on its position in the number. The rightmost digit represents the ones place, the next digit to the left represents the tens place, and so on. For example, the number 1234 in the Base 10 system represents 1 thousand, 2 hundreds, 3 tens, and 4 ones. The Base 10 system is used in everyday life for counting, measuring, and performing arithmetic operations. It is also the foundation for more advanced mathematical concepts such as algebra and calculus.
