Tombstones

Also known as headstones and gravestones, tombstones are markers placed on graves giving the deceased person's name and dates of birth and death. Sometimes an epitaph – a personal message, prayer, or pithy saying – is included on the tombstone. A particular favorite epitaph can be found at Boot Hill Cemetery in Tombstone, Arizona:
