Universal Tripod Mount

The universal tripod mount is a standard sized, threaded adapter that makes every film and still camera compatible with every tripod. Finally! The human race got something right! The universal tripod mount is one of the only things in the world that has a completely standard shape and size. With all the different measurements, metric vs US standard, bolt and nut thread sizes, electrical outlet voltage and plug sizes, thousands of different AC adapters, computer cables, circuit board parts, etc... I find it amazing that anything ever fits together. But photographers got it right! One day, long ago, photographers got together and said, "Wouldn't it make a lot of sense if every camera and every tripod worked together?" And so we have the universal tripod mount!
