Web Spam

Web spam is the act of posting unwanted information or gibberish on someone else's website. Often appearing on forums, blogs, social media sites, or sent to your email. Spam usually contains hyperlinks to other websites. It can be posted by a human user or an automated computer "bot" can be created to crawl the web and post on spam to vulnerable web forms. Web Spam should not be confused with the canned meat SPAM.
