Whole Binders Full Of Women

A reference made at the October 16, 2012 Presidential Debate by candidate Mitt Romney, when asked how he would, as President, rectify inequalities between men and women in the workplace. Romney stated that as Governor of Massachusetts, he went to women's groups to help him find women candidates for his Cabinet, and was provided with "whole binders full of women." Within 90 seconds, bindersfullofwomen.com was created, and the phrase established its own Facebook pages and Twitter accounts, with tens of thousands of followers.
