These four slang words are all names for small decorative objects, usually with sentimental value to the owner. Grommets, chotchkies, knick-kacks, or trinkets can be just about anything someone keeps for no apparent reason at all. Small figurines, toys, and worthless plastic pieces of junk are all examples of this, but we do love them.
