Shiva

Shiva is a Hindu God. He has two arms and a blue spot at his throat. In the Hindu pantheon he is know as "the destroyer" or the "transformer." The Sanskrit root shiv- means "pure," "peaceful" or auspicious. Shiva has a variety of manifestations but is popularly depicted as the cosmic dancer, Nataraja (Lord of Dance) or as the first yogi meditating high in the Himalaya Mountains. His wife is Parvati (though he is also married to Kali in some myths). Their sons are Ganesha and Skanda.
